Dominican Convent Primary School is the oldest school in Bulawayo, founded on 28 October 1895 by the Dominican Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. From humble beginnings with ten pupils in a rented chapel, it has grown into one of Zimbabwe’s finest institutions.
We offer an English-medium, Catholic education for the girl child, aligned with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. Our motto, Veritas (Truth), guides everything we do.
